The Joseph & Corinne Schwartz Preschool

Our Preschool is the gateway to Bais Yaakov. The program consists of three grade levels for three, four, and five-year-olds, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Kindergarten, respectively. The Preschool program develops a love for Torah and mitzvos, and builds the foundation for healthy social and emotional development, together with academic readiness.

Our Staff

Our Preschool moros and teachers lovingly help the girls adjust to a school setting. Academic foundational skills, socialization skills, middos tovos, and so much more, are taught in a loving and caring environment with creative and innovative activities that focus on the needs of each child.

Our Program

Our Preschool is a Maryland State Department of Education certified non-public school, and the General Studies program reflects those standards and requirements. Throughout the day, our staff focuses on developing a love for learning in students and encourages them to become independent learners. Every class has weekly physical education, art, and music classes, which are incorporated into the program to expand each girl’s personal development.

Our Growth

From its inception, our school’s goal has been to educate each student to become a Bas Yisrael, and it all begins here at the youngest of ages. In partnership with our parents, the shared vision is to provide each girl with the necessary tools to believe in herself and cultivate a healthy self-confidence. We aim to develop wholesome children, who are proud of their Yiddishkeit and exemplify Kiddush Shem Shomayim (sanctification of Hashem’s name).
